Teaching of the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Environmental and Soil Sciences

The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Environmental and Soil Sciences teaches at different centers of the University of Lleida:  School of Agrifood and Forestry Engineering and Veterinary Medicine (ETSEAFIV), Polytechnic School(EPS), Faculty of Arts , Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work. The teaching taught is related to the areas of knowledge of Edaphology and Agricultural Chemistry, Applied Physics, Physical Geography, Environmental Technologies, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plant Production and Didactics of Experimental Sciences. Most of the teaching credits are taught in undergraduate courses and it also participates in master's degrees, being in charge of coordinating the Master's in Soil and Water Management. In addition, the department also participates in various doctoral programs and continuous training programs at the UdL. The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Environmental and Soil Sciences has different laboratories and facilities to carry out practical classes. On the campus of the Higher Technical School of Agro-Food, Forestry and Veterinary Engineering, the department has laboratories for Soil Science and Phytotechnics, Physics, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing and Organic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry. On the campus of the Higher Polytechnic School there are also Physics laboratories. In all of them teaching and research are carried out, which means that students can use more advanced equipment and materials. To complement practical training, field trips and technical visits to companies and organizations are also organized.
